Prabhat Ranjan

Prabhat Ranjan, a fiction writer, translator and editor, is the author of Kothagoi, the first Hindi book to explicitly trace the history of the tawaif tradition. Prabhat has also published two collections of short stories called Janaki Pul and Bolero Class and has translated more than 30 books including, Anne Frank’s Diary, Mohsin Hamid's novel Moth Smoke and Khushwant Singh's book, Khushwantnama, among many others. He is the recipient of the Sahara Samay Katha Samman and Premchand Samman.
