Amita V. Joseph has accumulated over three decades of experience in the corporate, legal, and development sectors. She is a lawyer with a PhD from Deakin University. She is associated with various non-profits, including the Business and Community Foundation, where she has worked on numerous case studies and research papers. Joseph has been a dedicated volunteer for the cause of homelessness since 1999 and actively engaged in public interest matters for many years. As one of the founding members of CRW, she has been analysing Business Responsibility Reports since 2015. She is also a member of CSO Coalition@75, contributing to the 2023 Non-Profit Sector Contribution Report, among other endeavours. In recognition of her significant contribution, she was honoured with the Deakin University Silver Jubilee Award in 2019.
