Aasha Kapur Mehta is a Professor of Economics. Her books, articles and working papers are on different dimensions of poverty and poverty dynamics, multidimensional deprivation, human and gender development indicators and data gaps, gender budgeting, reviewing policies for gender inclusion, ill health, poverty and care. She Chairs the Centre for Gender Studies, Institute for Human Development, Delhi.
