Anil Aneja is an academician and disability-rights activist, presently serving as the Head of the Department of English at the University of Delhi and the Director of the Centre for Disability Studies at the University. With numerous publications and presentations in approximately 20 countries, Aneja has established himself as a leader in promoting disability studies in academia, particularly in literature. He was awarded the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities by the Hon’ble President of India in 2014 and received the Helen Keller Award in 2022.
