Sudeshna Chatterjee

Sudeshna Chatterjee is an urban designer and researcher working on creating safe, inclusive, resilient and child-friendly cities. Her leadership of the Urban Design of the new capital city of Chattisgarh, Naya Raipur, is widely acclaimed. Chatterjee is deeply committed to promoting the rights of children in all aspects of governance and planning of cities and has written extensively on these topics. Chatterjee is the founder and CEO of the non-profit, Action for Children’s Environments and a member of the global board of the International Play Association.
