Carrie Morgridge currently serves as the Morgridge Family Foundation’s vice president and Chief Disruptor. She is the award-winning author of Every Gift Matters: How Your Passion Can Change the World.

Over the past few years, Morgridge and her husband John have defined the philanthropic focus of the foundation on transformative gifts in education, conservation, the arts, and health and wellness. The foundation has been instrumental in supporting major projects at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, National Jewish Health, University of Central Florida, University of Denver, Mile High United Way, the Nature Conservancy and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orlando Florida, Impact 100, KIPP Schools (technology rollout) and DonorsChoose.org.  

Morgridge founded Student Support Foundation, a youth philanthropy club, to cultivate high school and college philanthropists to educate and teach them the importance of giving, through hands on learning.

She was an integral part of the team that created Share Fair Nation currently serves as its interim CEO. This national event has trained thousands of teachers on how to integrate technology in the classroom and promoting inquiry based learning coupled with creativity.  STEMosphere®, the public side to Share Fair Nation, has allowed students, teachers and families to experience hands on brains on learning and fun.  STEMosphere® allows the students to learn side by side with the teachers who attend the event.  Thus far, Share Fair Nation has provided thousands of hours of free high quality creative teacher professional development.

Morgridge received the distinguished Francis Wisebart-Jacobs Woman of the Year award from the Mile High United Way. She was awarded the Every Gift Matters Award from the Colorado Distant Learning Association for her work and support of technology in rural Colorado.  She currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the University of Denver, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Colorado Mountain College Board of Overseers and New Jersey Center for Teaching and Learning. She has been publicly recognized for her work at National Jewish Hospital and Denver Academy. Morgridge serves in an advisory capacity and speaks nationally to education advocacy and technology-focused forums.

Morgridge divides her time between Colorado and Florida with her husband. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from the International Academy of Design and Technology. She is an avid outdoorsman and has competed in nine Ironman competitions, several marathons, Muddy Buddy and Warrior Dash. In her spare time, she enjoys a great game of competitive tennis.
