Mridula Mukherjee

Writer & Historian

Mridula Mukherjee taught Modern History at JNU, New Delhi  and was Director of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library. She has co-authored India’s Struggle for Independence, India Since Independence, Penguin and RSS, School Texts and the Murder of Mahatma Gandhi. She is also the author of Peasants in India’s Non-Violent Revolution, Practice and Theory and Colonialising Agriculture: The Myth of Punjab Exceptionalism.
