Vikrant Pande has translated nine Marathi classics into English. His translation of Girish Kuber’s Tatas, The Family that built a Business and a Nation won the Gaja Capital best biz book 2019 Award. He is currently working on his own books while translating other Marathi classics.
Ranjit Desai's Shriman Yogi, about the foundations of the Maratha empire and the life of its charismatic founder, the great warrior Shivaji, is a beloved classic of Marathi literature.
