Vinod Khanna is a retired diplomat who has served as India’s ambassador in Cuba, Indonesia and Bhutan. He pursued his research on The Ramayana in Indonesia, co-authored with Malini Saran. Khanna is an Emeritus Fellow at the Institute of Chinese Studies and has co-authored India and China: The Way Ahead. Currently. He and Malini are currently translating C.Bulcke’s Ramakatha into English.
