Sunil S. Amrith
Sunil Amrith is the Mehra Family Professor of South Asian Studies and Professor of History at Harvard University. He is a 2017 MacArthur Fellow and recipient of the 2016 Infosys Prize in Humanities. His latest book is Unruly Waters: How Monsoons and Mountain Rivers Have Shaped South Asia’s History. He is also the author of Crossing the Bay of Bengal: The Furies of Nature and the Fortunes of Migrants, which won the John F. Richards Prize in South Asian History.
