Shyam Selvadurai

Shyam Selvadurai is the writer of many novels which have been published internationally and translated into 9 languages. His Funny Boy was made into a film, for which Selvadurai won the New York Cinema Independent Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. His new novel is Mansion of the Moon, a historical novel about the Buddha’s wife, published by Knopf and Penguin India.

Selvadurai’s visit to the Jaipur Literature Festival is sponsored by the Canada Council for the Arts.
