Sholeh Wolpé is an Iranian-born poet and playwright. A recipient of the Mid-West Book Award and PEN/Heim, she is the author of several plays and 12 collections of poetry, translations and anthologies, including Keeping Time with Blue Hyacinths and The Conference of the Birds.
