Sethu has been writing under this pen-name in Malayalam for five decades with around 37 titles to his credit. He has won the Sahitya Akademi and other major awards. Many of his works have been translated into other languages including English, Hindi, German and Turkish. His novels translated into English include The Saga of Muziris, Aliyah and Pandavapuram.
