Saikat Majumdar is a Professor of English & Creative Writing at Ashoka University. His novels include The Middle Finger, The Scent of God, and The Firebird/PlayHouse. He has also published a co-edited collection of essays, The Critic as Amateur; non-fiction, College; and a book of criticism called Prose of the World.
