Rita Kothari is a multilingual scholar, translator, and translation theorist whose work spans various disciplines. Movements across languages, contexts, and cultures form the fulcrum of her interests, making translation the prism through which she sees the Indian context. She is Professor of English at Ashoka University and Co-director of the Ashoka Centre for Translation.
