Rebecca Wragg Sykes is a prehistorian, an Honorary Fellow at the University of Liverpool, and a writer. She is the author of one of the 2021 New York Times list of 100 Notable Books, Kindred: Neanderthal Life, Love, Death and Art- winner of the 2021's PEN Hessell-Tiltman prize.
