Ramesh Sharma is an award-winning feature film and documentary producer and director. He is the recipient of six National Awards for his work and numerous international accolades, including the Caviliere dell’Ordiine della Stella Della Solidarieta’ Italiana and the Opera Prima at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival for his feature film New Delhi Times. His documentary, The Journalist and The Jihadi: The Murder of Daniel Pearl, was nominated for two Emmy awards in and won the National Award in India. To commemorate 150 years of Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Sharma produced and directed a 103 minute feature documentary titled Ahimsa: Gandhi: The Power of the Powerless, which was awarded the Global Peace Award.
