Rahaab Allana

Rahaab Allana serves as the Curator/Publisher at the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts in New Delhi and is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, UK. He played a pivotal role as the Founding Editor of PIX, a platform dedicated to South Asian lens-based creative work, and also established ASAP | Art (Alternative South Asia Photography | Art). Allana collaborates nationally and internationally with museums, archives, universities, cultural initiatives, and arts festivals. As a Guest Editor, he contributed to the themed issue Delhi: Looking Out/Looking In in Aperture 243 and served as the Editor for Unframed: Discovering Image Practices in South Asia. Allana is actively involved in various capacities, including being on the editorial board of Trans Asia Photography and advisory committees for the India-Europe Foundation for New Dialogues (Rome) and the Arts and Culture Committee at Asia Society (India Chapter). Recently, he received the prestigious 'Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters' award from the Government of France.
