Raghu Karnad is a journalist and writer who is the recipient of Yale's Windham Campbell Prize for non-fiction. He has been chief of the bureau at the Wire.in, a news site he helped to launch in 2015. His book, Farthest Field: An Indian Story of the Second World War, was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in 2016.
