Praveen Swami is a New Delhi-based journalist who writes on national security issues and international affairs. He has reported on conflicts in South Asia since the early 1990s. The author of a history of India-Pakistan covert warfare, India, Pakistan and the Secret Jihad and The Kargil War, his recent works include Gold Flake, a collection of short stories on Kashmir.
