Peter Stewart is a Professor of Ancient Art and the Director of the Classical Art Research Centre at Oxford University. He is the author of numerous publications about Graeco-Roman and Gandharan sculpture. He is currently working on a new book about the relationship between Roman imperial art and the wider ancient world.
