Nirupama Kotru, officer of the Indian Revenue Service, has served in the Income Tax Department at Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Pune. On deputation, she served as Director in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Director in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. As the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, she looked after prestigious national academies and national museums.
