Neelum Saran Gour is the author of six novels, four short story collections, and two works of non-fiction, and has translated one of her novels from English to Hindi. She has reviewed for the TLS, the Book Review, the Indian Review of Books and Biblio, has been a columnist on the Allahabad page of Hindustan Times and currently writes a literary column for Firstpost. Her latest novel, Requiem In Raga Janki, won The Hindu Prize for Fiction, 2018. She works as a Professor in English Literature at the University of Allahabad.
