Navin Chawla

Navin Chawla, a retired Indian civil servant and writer, served as the 16th Chief Election Commissioner of India and conducted the general elections to national and international acclaim in 2009. Navin is the author of Faith and Compassion: The Life and Work of Mother Teresa and a biography of Saint Teresa. His latest book, Every Vote Counts, is an insider's fascinating account of elections in India.
