Nand Bhardwaj

Nand Bhardwaj is a well-known Rajasthani and Hindi writer as well as a media expert. He has more than two dozen books in Rajasthani and Hindi as poetry, novels, short stories, literary criticism and interviews with eminent scholars including books on electronic media and culture are published at his credit. He has also translated Albert Camus’ The Outsider into Rajasthani. He is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Sahitya Akademi Award, Bhartendu Harishchandra Award, Bihari Award of Birla Foundation, Suryamal Misan Shikhar Puraskar, by Rajasthani Bhasha Sahitya Akademi and Outstanding Contribution Award by Doordarshan on Indian Classics. Bhardwaj is a retired Senior Director of Doordarshan Kendra, Jaipur and currently works as regional advisor for the Jaipur Literature Festival.
