Moin Mir is the author of The Lost Fragrance of Infinity. Hailed as “the gospel of its time” (India Today October 2021) the novel was amongst Times of India’s Top Five Reads of 2021. A historical epic, the book brings to life the contribution of Sufism to philosophy, art and mathematics while celebrating diversity and multicultural identities. Mir began writing under the guidance of his grandfather, a scholar of Sufism, Omar Khayyam and Mirza Ghalib. His first book was Surat: Fall of a Port. Rise of a Prince.
