Moin Mir is a London-based writer of Indian origin. He began his writing career under the influence of his grandfather, a scholar of Sufism, Mirza Ghalib and Omar Khayyam. Mir is the author of the critically acclaimed book, Surat: Fall of a Port. Rise of a Prince. His upcoming book is a historical novel set against the backdrop of Sufism and its philosophies. Through a life journey, the book will give Sufism and its contribution to humanity, art, mathematics, spirituality and science a much deserved voice. The book will be published in June 2021.
