Michael Vatikiotis is a private diplomat, journalist and author of fiction and non-fiction. Formerly editor of the Far Eastern Economic Review, Michael is currently senior advisor at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, working to resolve conflicts across Asia, Africa and the Middle East. His latest book, Lives between the Lines: A Journey in Search of the Lost Levant, explores his family's Levantine roots.
