Maya Mrig was born in Punjab. He has worked at Bodhi Publishing since 1995.
He is the author of Words, That Life Will Not Stop, Frozen Greenpeace, Diary of a Silent Man and Kat Ray Man Kat. Mrig has also initiated publishing experiments such as curating poems centred around women from 127 poets on Facebook. In 2015, an anthology of these poems was published as Shathdal.
