Manoj Rupda writes in Hindi and is the author of the novel, I Named My Sister Silence, which was shortlisted for the JCB Prize for Literature 2023 and the Atta Galatta Bangalore Literature Festival Book Prize 2023. He is also the author of the novel, Pratisansaar; the collections of short stories, Tower of Silence, Saaz-Naasaaz, and Aamaajgaah; and the book of essays, Kalaa Ka Aaswaad. He is a recipient of the Indu Sharma Katha Puraskar and the Vanmali Katha Samman.
