Manjula Padmanabhan

Manjula Padmanabhan is a playwright, novelist, artist and cartoonist. She is best known for her plays Lights Out and Harvest that won the first-ever Onassis Award for Theatre in 1997 in Greece. Padmanabhan has published several books of prose, including Hot Death, Cold Soup, Kleptomania, Escape, The Island of Lost Girls and Getting There. In 2020, she published two volumes of her collected plays, Blood and Laughter and Laughter and Blood.
