Madhu Acharya is a renowned Rajasthani writer, journalist and poet. Acharya has also worked in theatre having acted in, written and directed over 200 plays. Acharya is the executive editor of Dainik Bhaskar (Bikaner) and a recipient of the Shambhu-Shekhar Saxaina Journalism Award. With 66 books in Hindi and Rajasthani to his name, he has won numerous awards for his work, including the Sahitya Akademi for Rajasthani's first postmodern novel Gawad. His literature has been included in the syllabus of Maharaja Ganga Singh University. He currently serves as Convener of the Rajasthani Language Advisory Board of the Sahitya Akademi.
