Leïla Slimani’s first novel Dans le Jardin de l'ogre was published in 2014. Two years later, she won the Prix Goncourt with her second novel, Chanson douce. She is also a journalist, activist and author of the nonfiction book Sexe et mensonges, about the sexual life of Moroccan women.
