Laxmi Prasad Pant is a writer and journalist who has a mighty ink to crusade for nature. With a PhD in City Reporting, he has written a book titled, Himalaya Ka Kabristan, which contains his firsthand account of the Kedarnath tragedy. He has also written a book titled Newsman At Work and is currently working for Dainik Bhaskar as National Editor. He has reported a number of stories on the environment, mountains, rivers, forests and animals, and his love for mother nature has made him an avid traveller, writer and mountaineer.
