Jyotindra Jain, formerly Director of the National Crafts Museum and Professor of Arts and Aesthetics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, has been a Visiting Professor at Harvard, and Humboldt University, Berlin. A scholar of Indian art and Fellow of the Asiatic Society of Bombay, Jain is a recipient of the Prince Claus Award and Cross of the Order of Merit of Germany.
