Juri Baruah born at Dinjan, located in Upper Assam in 1990. Currently she is pursuing PhD from TISS, Guwahati campus, and working as an Assistant Professor of Geography in DCB Girls’ College. She published two short story collections. Her stories are translated to English, Hindi and Bengali.
