Josef Wirsching studied Visual Communications at Loyola College, Chennai, along with his younger brother Georg but did not follow its path into the creative realm of art and media. He took an alternate route and has been studying massage and healing therapies for 27 years from various systems. He has also been apprenticed to masters of Ayurveda and Kalaripayattu, an ancient form of Martial Art, from Kerala. During his study, he was initiated into several ancient Ayurvedic systems of healing and Yoga and has been working as a therapist and Ayurvedic practitioner in Goa since 2006. He also helps Georg manage and promote 'Wirsching Enterprises'.
