Harish Trivedi has published books and articles on Postcolonial Literature and Theory, Translation Studies and Indian/Comparative Literature, and is currently a contributing editor of an international project based in Stockholm for writing a history of World Literature. He has recently edited a book on the medieval bhakti poet Abdur-Rahim Khan-i-Khana. His works include Colonial Transactions: English Literature and India, Post-colonial Translation: Theory and Practice and the Penguin Classics edition of Kim by Rudyard Kipling. He has written on and translated various Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit writers, including Ashvaghosha, Premchand, Manto and Ajneya. He has edited and contributed two chapters to a book on the bhakti poet Abdur-Rahim Khan-e khana.
