GLENN PATTERSON

WRITER

Glenn Patterson is the author of ten novels and three works of nonfiction. In 2006, he was elected to Aosdána, the affiliation of Irish Artists. In 2007, he became an Arts Council Major Artist. In 2008, he was awarded a Lannan Literary Fellowship. In 2012, he co-wrote the screenplay of Good Vibrations (BBC Films). His novel, The Mill for Grinding Old People Young, was Belfast’s inaugural One City One Book. In 2017, Dr Patterson was appointed Director of the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry at Queen’s University of Belfast.
