Gita Sahgal is a writer and documentary filmmaker on the editorial collective, ‘Feminist Dissent’. Her documentaries include the Rushdie affair, dowry murders, sati, the case of Kiranjit Ahluwalia, who killed her husband and ‘The War Crimes File’ about the Jamaat-e-Islami death squads in the 1971 war in Bangladesh.
