Friedrich Ani is an award-winning German writer who writes novels, poems, radio plays and screenplays. His books have been translated into ten languages and have received numerous awards. His novel, The Nameless Day, was voted one of the ten best international crime novels of the year and was filmed by Oscar winner Volker Schlöndorff. Friedrich Ani is a member of the International PEN Club.
