Chigozie Obioma is an associate professor of Creative Writing at the University of Nebraska,Lincoln. His two novels, The Fishermen and An Orchestra of Minorities were shortlisted for The Booker Prize and have been translated into more than 30 languages. He is the recipient of several awards including, the LA Times Book Prize, Internationaler Literarturpris, along with more than two dozen other nominations in various categories.
