Anita Agnihotri writes in Bengali. She has authored over 40 books across all genres of creative writing spanning poetry, short stories, essays, novels and writing for children. Agnihotri has been translated into many Indian languages, including English and also in German and Swedish. She has received several literary awards, including Crossword Economist Award for her collection of short stories, Seventeen.
