Amita Nigam Sahaya is a social entrepreneur working in the gender space. She is the director and co-founder of three non-profits, and has authored and edited eight books on women and gender issues. Her latest book is The Shaadi Story, Behind the Scenes of the Big Fat Indian Wedding, published by Pan Macmillan. She has established two Community Education Development Centres in the unauthorised colonies of Delhi.
