Alka Saraogi is a Hindi author from Kolkata. Her first novel Kalikatha via Bypass’ won the Sahitya Akademi award in 2001. She has published six more novels and has been translated into many European & Indian languages. Her new novel, Kulbhushan an naam darj kijiye grapples with the theme of displacement of the people who migrated to West Bengal during the Partition.
