Alka Pande

Alka Pande is an art historian and ex-Reader of Indian Arts and Aesthetics at Panjab University. Pande is a curator, arts manager, prolific and extensive writer, and winner of many prestigious and highly coveted awards in India and abroad. Her major fields of interest are gender, identity, sexuality, traditional arts and heritage. She has been passionately involved with the world of visual arts for more than three decades now. Currently, Pande serves as consultant art advisor and curator of the Visual Arts Gallery at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.
