Afra Atiq is an Emirati poet, spoken word artist and PhD candidate. Her current research centres around the effects of Instagram on the Arab literary ecosystem. Additionally, she has published academic research about reading in the UAE. She has been featured on numerous international and local stages, including Dubai Opera and Louvre Abu Dhabi. With a passion for languages, she writes and performs in a blend of bilingual and trilingual poems.
