Abhimanyu Singh Arha is an Environmental Historian who has taught at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner and University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He graduated from St. Stephen’s College and holds a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University. His research area includes studying the nexus between ecology, trade and state-building and the history of diplomacy and self-writings. His research papers have been published widely. Arha writes both verse and prose in Rajasthani, his mother-tongue.
