Abhijit Banerjee, recipient of the 2019 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics, teaches economics at MIT. He co-founded the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab at MIT and has authored six books, including Poor Economics, Good Economics for Hard Times and a recent cookbook, titled Cooking to Save Your Life.
