Vedica Kant


Vedica Kant is the author of If I Die Here, Who Will Remember Me?: India and the First World War. She holds an M.Phil degree in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oxford, where her research focussed on the late Ottoman Empire and early Turkish Republic. She has written widely about the First World War from both an Indian and Turkish perspective in newspapers, magazines and scholarly publications. She also frequently writes on South Asian and Middle Eastern history, politics and culture.
